Before I undertook the challenge I was feeling very unmotivated as I was wondering why I wasn't sleeping very well, felt fatigued all the time, regular brain fog, and concerned about weight gain but not knowing why it was all happening. The 4 days were very helpful and insightful. The biggest thing for me was learning about the Setpoint. The set point weight that your body 'defends' to keep you feeling safe. Being alerted to this made me realise that I needed to change things to get my body out of this 'safety' zone. Since the challenge I have made a concerted effort not to eat after 8pm, ensure my water intake is around the 2L mark each day, and getting to bed by 10/11pm the latest as opposed to 12-1am. From doing this I've noticed changes within my body. I'm more energetic, less brain fog, and bodily functions have improved. I enjoyed Charlene's calm and peaceful persona, and how relaxed and 'normal' she made us feel. The 4 days were well worth the commitment. Thank you for your time and dedication to helping us.
My biggest takeaway is realizing that small steps at a time are better than trying to change everything at once. I'm learning to reflect and reassess.

The realization that juicing fruits reduces the fiber content and can cause spikes in your blood sugar level. In addition, the comparison between how man operated in The Garden of Eden as opposed to now. Another mind blowing thing for me though was that fruits and vegetables are less nutrient dense now than in days gone by. I'm more conscious of the way I prepare foods. I'm also doing more resistance training than cardio and being more conscious of how much I move during the day.
Before the challenge, I was struggling with exercising regularly and not eating whole foods. I felt tired all the time, so learning about healthier eating habits and adding more movement has been really helpful. My biggest ‘aha’ moment was recognizing that healthy eating and consistent exercise don’t have to be complicated—it’s the small, daily choices that make the biggest impact on my energy and overall health. I also realized how valuable it is to have a community of like-minded people around me for encouragement and support. After the challenge, I feel more energized and motivated. I will be thinking differently about food and exercise—I now see how small, daily choices really add up. I will be eating more whole foods, moving more consistently, and I will be stronger and more positive in my health journey.
